better than ever

wow.  david sedaris is really a comme des garcons fan. and i would have missed the outlandish outfit entirely had a friend not given me her extra ticket.  i was, however, prepared to show up at the box office 90 min before the show to see if in fact his wheelchair fans decided to sit this one out (no pun).  apparently the opera house will place seats in the accessible spaces if they don't get sold.  good to know for shows that routinely sell out.

even though that is a total autograph home run, i cannot pretend that i was not completely envious he drew not one, but TWO pictures in my friend's books. i was particularly jealous of the silver hook with blood dripping from it.   being an enchantress will have to do.
