from 1/14/11.   evidence he can be remorseful.  this is a good thing.  granted, he was only ten at the time.  it gives me hope mainly because he wrote the note without me asking him. glad i saved it. 

Dear Mommy,
Sorry me and Mason are misbehaving. We just get mad at each other easily, but we still love each other very much. I am trying my best to behave every day, and I guess I'm not doing a very good job of it.
