condiment conundrum, a pickle even

What the heck is the deal with the chow-chow shortage?! I will not accept dill or sweet relish, neither will I buy piccalilli; I want my dang chow-chow. For weeks and weeks it has been unavailable at the grocery store, both HOT and mild varieties. And I'm mad. Mad enough to get out there and get political about it.

I do not consider myself a conspiracy theorist in the least, yet i have no choice but to assume one of the political parties is manipulating the supply to somehow affect the election. somewhere it will be revealed that cabbage growers pour heap big dollars into someone's campaign. whose? no idea, but there is mischief going on. i am sure of it.
