parker brothers and sub-atomic particles , or when mediocre is the finest you can throw down

in an on-going-no-score-kept-late-night-atop-the-covers-beyond-thunderdome-scrabble-tournament, using all my letters plus one already on the board from something played earlier on, i spelled 'mediocre'. and it wasn't half bad. truth be told, you cannot imagine my excitement, borderline euphoria even.

almost had 'boson' a couple weeks ago, but i foolishly thought it took a 'z' instead of an 's'. this hooked on phonix miscalculation left me w only a 'bozo', so i played it.

this chart means zero to me, but i like the pretty colors anyway. mmm, now i'm thinking of watermelon and grape popsicles. those are made of particles, i bet.

once held out for a while wanting 'mutton', several of its letters already having been assembled. after repeated unsuccessful attempts to get that elusive double 't', dissatisfied and dejected, i punted w 'ton'. didn't have its accompaniment w 'mint' or ' jelly' anyhow, so what would have been the point.

tonight i shall go for a PR. tonight the white matelasse coverlet will not even see it coming.
