A flux capacitor maybe?

Just opened my kitchen cabinet to grab a glass for a mid afternoon hit of cranberry juice (no, I'm not a recovering alcoholic with a bladder infection) and it smelled EXACTLY like my apartment freshman year. I'm not real good at physics, even though am a huge Stephen Hawking fan, but even I know fall of '85 won't fit inside a kitchen cabinet. So just how did that happen?
