Sauce and Honey Policy

I confess, from time to time I do stoop to petty theft. A friend wanted a Target store dog. The one w/ the red bullseye. I saw my opportunity and seized it, both the opportunity as well as that 2-D canine, justifying it by telling myself that as a Target stockholder, I was simply getting an early dividend. Whatever.

My most recent small time thievery occurred last Wednesday in a Popeye's. As if it weren't bad enough to admit stealing, admitting being in a Popeye's? yikes. So as I'm waiting to pick up my pre-ordered Cajun fried turkey for last Thursday's feasting - I don't have a fryer of my own - I spied this interesting notice to patrons:
Popeyes Cajun Fried Turkey - 10/12 lbs.
SAUCE &HONEY POLICY
2 chicken strips................................1 sauce
3 chicken strips................................1 sauce
5 chicken strips................................2 sauces
10 chicken strips..............................3 sauces
popcorn shrimp................................1 sauce
crawfish.............................................1 sauce
w/ chicken order................................no sauce
extra sauce/honey............................15 cents

While my degree was not in applied mathematics, it is clear to me that when you buy 2 5piece strips, you're gonna be better off sauce wise than if you go for the tener. Or go ahead and get 2 2's and 2 3's so you end up w/ 4 sauces as well. I liked their card.

I stealthily pocketed the little index sized policy thingy, paid for my spicy bird and made a clean getaway. Driving home, I wondered
what about the biscuits? Popeye's sells biscuits. Are we expected to extrapolate from this complex condiment matrix to figure out how many honey pkgs per biscuit are allowed?

Now I'm gonna have to go back to see 1) if the notice has been replaced, and 2) if I actually have to pay .15 when I ask for 2 pkgs of honey for my one biscuit.
I say everyone should participate in this sauce/honey coup and see how Popeye's corporate responds to the Great Run on Sauce of 2006. It'll be the stuff for history books.

The fried turkey was pretty yummy, but I don't think I'll get another one from them. It's time to get my own fryer. I think I'll try to steal one.

My S&HP card looks great on my computer monitor. Gonna shrink it down and tape a copy to my stem or top tube. I can't write it on my leg because that's where I scribble my hr zones : )
